I offer very simple psychotherapy solutions: consultations on the phone or by writing. It does not require any transportation nor video set-up. It is a particularly convenient option for you if you need or want to be able to talk or write from any location. During a pandemic, it is also a very ideal therapy option. Research shows that telephone or writing psychotherapy can be just as effective as traditional face-to-face therapy. We can either speak or write in English, Danish or mixed with certain other languages. Read more in the "About therapy" section.
It is becoming increasingly normal to seek guidance from a psychologist. Doing so signifies strength, as you are willing to explore your mental and emotional strengths and limits. You are open to be guided to new directions that may challenge you. It means you want to invest in your health and personal development. Therapy does not replace family or friends, nor does it mean that you lack supportive relationships in your life.
A psychologist offers a relationship based on your needs, support based on psychological expertise, and a view that is unbiased. You do not need to be in a "bad place" in your life to seek assistance from a psychologist and you are welcome to contact me if you are interested in learning more about yourself and how to handle your feelings and needs. It may also be that one or more difficult things happened in your life that caused you to seek professional support. If you feel stuck, I will help you gain more knowledge and inspire you in new tracks, but it is you who ultimately makes the decisions in your life.
